Meet the Client:

Deepaul Events is a brand that focuses on the organization and planning of all types of events including, but not limited to religious and cultural. One area where the company is involved into every year is the Dandiya celebration which takes place in Navratri festival which is widely celebrated in the country. At this, people come together to participate in Dandiya Raas, the traditional form of dance known as Dandiya and of course the Dandiya Raas performer will be provided by Deepaul Events to make it fun filled and memorable for everyone present.

Goal:

Objectives were set to promote online awareness and ticket sales for the Dandiya event during the season of Navratri. The purpose was to establish a sustained online presence and encourage engagement from potential participants in order to ensure ticket sales and hence the success of the event thereby satisfying Deepaul Events need for a higher turnout and active participation.

What We Did:

  • Social Media Campaigns
    Social media campaigns were implemented to cover the Dandiya event where enthusiastic and colorful content in relation to Dandiya’s dances and the Indian festival of Navratri was shared with the audience. This ensured that people were informed and excited in a positive way.
  • Digital Advertising
    Targeted digital ads were also run on Facebook and Instagram for those users who celebrate the festival of Navratri and cultural or religious activities are among their interests. The purpose of the ads was to encourage viewers go to the event page, and more especially, get tickets.
  • Lead Generation
    In order to increase the sales of tickets, we applied lead generation strategies which aim at collecting contact details of those who express interest. Early bird discounts and other giveaways were used to motivate these signups and conversions.

Results:

The Dandiya incident was publicized efficiently through the online campaigns which led to a larger turnout and increased ticket sales of the event.
